Thank you for auditioning for the Barrington Youth Dance Ensemble. Listed below is the 2008 company. Confirmed placement is based on the return of your signed contract. Information packets including your company contract have been sent in the mail. Please read through all the materials carefully before making a decision to participate in the company this year.

We are excited to announce our 2008 company dancers:

The BYDE Company includes 25 dedicated students and pre-professional dancers, ranging in age from 11-18, all of whom train to achieve high standards of excellence in various forms of dance, including ballet, modern, jazz, and character dance. Selected through yearly auditions, company dancers undertake a rigorous daily training schedule at the Barrington Dance Academy. In addition to their training and performance in BYDE’s full production ballets, ensemble members take part in community outreach programs, bringing the beauty and discipline of dance to area grade school children, senior citizens, festival audiences, and at other special events.
